Dear potential Partner,

The Friends of Bouchie – Milburn Society are reaching out to neighbouring non-profit organisations to welcome and invite them to join us as a partner at our inaugural Car Rally set for June 1st.

The objective of this is event is as follows: host a fun, collaborative event that will elevate awareness and interest in the Friends of Bouchie – Milburn Society and the history of the Bouchie Lake District, both First Nation and early settler, and will create connections across our community with other nonprofits and local businesses. Funds raised will go towards the Bouchie Lake Century Family Recognition Project which is well underway.

A Route has been proposed in which participants, in teams of 2, will travel to find features, clues, visit local businesses, and connect with groups such as yours. As a partner, participation is easy. Your group can provide an activity or something as simple as a “skill testing question”. There is no fee and for your efforts, awareness in your group will be elevated through connecting with community members and promotion as a partner. Having some of your members join us on-site as volunteers will be greatly appreciated also.

A Car Rally Committee has been established which is meeting regularly to plan the event. A member or 2 from your organisation are welcome to join the committee.
