The Friends of Bouchie-Milburn Society may only have become established in November, 2017… but as you can see from our list of accomplishments we are progressive, community mind, collaborative, action oriented and fun to hang out with.

Host of  Billie Bouchie Day Celebrations

Produced “Up Six Mile, Down Nine Mile”  (https://vimeo.com/283769235 )

Hosted Lawnchair Travel: Bouchie Lake  (2018 and 2019) but a member founded the programme in 2014.

Completed the “Bouchie Beautification Project” (= FireSmarting of the Green Space)

Established the “Bouchie-Milburn Scholarship Fund”

Supported the establishment of the “Bouchie-Milburn COMMUNITY PLANNING TEAM”

Care for the Bouchie Lake Community Food Garden

Participates in the Empowering Family Health Project (https://empoweringfamilyhealth.blogspot.com/ )     led by the Partners for Healthier Communities Committee in partnership with Growing North Cariboo Society ( https://www.farmed.ca/growing-north-cariboo-projects/ )

Organized the Bouchie-Milburn Christmas Hamper

Organized the Father’s Day KAYAK Raffle Fundraiser

Co-hosted the Bouchie Lake Harvest Festival with the Bouchie Lake Country Store (during Culture Days)

Hosted NIA with Karen at the Bouchie Lake Hall
